Submissions must be valid and accurate.
Papers may not contain misleading or misrepresented statistics.
The usage of AI to write your paper primarily can disqualify your paper for publication. However, the use of AI is allowed for brainstorming, reference, and as a tool. The Youth Advocacy & Policy Publication recognizes the growth of AI and its common usage as a tool.
Proper citations and credit should be provided. YAPP takes plagiarism seriously, and papers that contain uncredited information will be returned for correction.
If statistics are used, the resource must be credible and accurate. Citation pages will not count towards the three-page limit.
Submissions must be relevant to advocacy, policy, or youth voice and preferably maintain a professional tone.
The degradation of other cultures, religions, or communities will not be tolerated and will result in automatic disqualification. Expressing hate of a person(s) is also not accepted.
By submitting your paper to the Youth Advocacy & Policy Publication (YAPP), you agree that your work follows YAPP's Honor Code and understand that your submission may be denied if it does not. Before Submission, the Author must read YAPP's Honor Code and make sure their work follows the guidelines accurately.
